A few weeks ago, I thought I had the perfect dad prank.

I carefully stretched a piece of saran wrap across my daughter’s doorway, knocked on the door, and waited for the inevitable face plant.

Except… she opened the door, immediately spotted it, ducked underneath, and walked away like she had seen that trick a hundred times before.

Prank failed.

Dad 0. Daughter 1.

Well… today was payback.

While she was peacefully sleeping in the car, I may or may not have turned the stereo volume up and played a fire alarm sound.

Let’s just say she woke up FAST.

And yes… we caught the entire thing on video.

So now we need a ruling from the internet:

Was this fair payback?

👍 Team Dad: Justice has been served.

❤️ Team Daughter: Dad took it way too far.

Either way, I think we can all agree on one thing…

Daddy always wins. 😎
