What is the Role?

Public representatives ensure public accountability, transparency, and fairness in health profession regulation. They serve on committees such as Complaints, Fitness to Practice, and Professional Conduct Committees—bringing a valuable community voice to health regulatory decisions.

Eligibility

Individuals from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply; however, only Nova Scotia adult residents will be eligible for consideration. No resume or CV is required. Volunteer applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
