Our member Alderwood Rest Home is hiring a Director of Care (DOC)!

Alderwood cares for 70 residents across Nursing Home and Residential Care. Their home is divided into six distinct home areas; five Nursing Home (11 12 residents each) and one Residential Care (11 residents).

They are seeking a dedicated, long-term leader who is committed to growing with their organization and making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. This person will provide thoughtful, and strategic direction, as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Working closely with the Clinical Nursing Manager, the DOC ensures clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous quality improvement. Together, these roles compassion, professionalism, and accountability.

This role holds primary responsibility for the operation and leadership of the Nursing Department, ensuring provision of comprehensive nursing and Allied health services to all residents which meet the Mission, Vision, and Values of Alderwood.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Facilities Management will be a key member of the Leadership Team, initially focusing on the transition to and the commissioning of the new facility.
