International Overdose Awareness Day is August 31.

This yearโ€™s theme brings our community together to remember lives lost, support those impacted by overdose and substance use, and stand together for hope, healing and harm reduction.

Join CMHA Hastings Prince Edward Addictions and Mental Health Services and community partners, including Quinte Health, on Monday, August 31, from 4:30โ€“8:30 p.m. at the Empire Theatre parking lot, 321 Front St., Belleville.

The evening will include guest speakers, a remembrance alley memorial installation, a community vigil walk, memorial rock ceremony and harm reduction and community resources.

With International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) approaching, CMHA HPE joins communities in reflecting on this year's theme, 25 Years On. Still Needed.

For 25 years, IOAD has brought people together to remember those lost to overdose, support grieving families and friends, and raise awareness about overdose prevention.

Join us on August 26 and August 31 at IOAD events across the region as we come together to remember those we've lost, support those affected, and end stigma. ๐Ÿ’œ
