Rural community halls are more than event spaces – they’re community assets, often underused, with huge potential to support local food systems.

On July 15, RCFNS is hosting a lunch-hour coffee chat on community halls & local food systems. We’ll explore ideas like:

- Community gardens and seed projects
- Food education and cooking programs
- Food banks, pantries, and shared kitchens
-New ways to connect halls with local producers and neighbours

This is part of an ongoing series on reimagining halls as resilience centres – for food, emergencies, and more. We’d love to hear what you want your hall to be.

πŸ—“ Date: July 15
⏰ Time: 12:00–1:00 PM Atlantic
