Our adventures continue! We recently stayed at Lake Apoyo which is a fresh water lake that has formed in a volcano! With surprisingly wavy water considering it is surrounded by volcanic mountains, it's a great place to go kayaking.
Today we are staying with a new friend, Luis Sabor, who owns Centro Suelo Sano and Pure Mind Retreats. We are helping with some projects he has on the go! A pic of Lee and Luis moving the Pelibüey (or Tabasco): Originally brought to the Caribbean and Central America by Spanish colonizers. This completely dewooled hair sheep is highly resistant to heat, humidity, and tropical parasites. It is the most popular breed in Mexico and Central America.
