We’re grateful for the meaningful time spent together at our recent Caregiver Retreat in Lac La Biche.

The retreat gave Apidae’s caregivers an opportunity to pause, connect, share experiences, and renew their energy alongside others who understand the rewards and challenges of caregiving.

We also recognize that not all caregivers were able to join us. You were missed, and we appreciate the dedication and compassion you bring everyday. 🐝

Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to live with the lasting impacts of this history.

At Apidae Compassion Care, we recognize the importance of providing care with compassion, respect, and cultural humility. We are committed to listening, learning, and fostering an environment where every person is treated with dignity and understanding. 🐝

As we reflect today, we encourage our community to learn about the history of residential schools, amplify Indigenous voices, and support the ongoing journey toward truth and reconciliation.
