Through an exciting new partnership between Dr. Coetzee’s MDSPASM and Health First Physiotherapy, we are bringing advanced, comprehensive pain management services closer to home. You no longer have to travel for specialized, high-quality care.

BIG NEWS: Health First Physiotherapy and MDSPASM are joining forces!

We are thrilled to announce that we are joining forces with the MDSPASM team and moving to a brand-new home!

This partnership, led by Dr. Coetzee, allows us to offer a more integrated-care approach, giving you local access to advanced treatments like Steroid Injections, Viscosupplementation, Nerve Blocks, and PRP (coming soon), right alongside your physiotherapy.

🌿 A Heartfelt Thank You to Holly Dubilowski 🌿
As many in our community may already know, after 22 wonderful years of serving Bonnyville Health First Physiotherapy will be merging with Dr. Coetzee’s new venture - MDSPASM MSK and Spine Assessment Clinic -. This transition brings some changes, including a shift in service focus—physiotherapy, acupuncture and specialized interventional therapy only—meaning massage therapy will no longer be offered under the new business model.
With this change, we are both proud and saddened to announce that our long-time team member and friend, Holly Dubilowski, will be moving on to continue her massage therapy career elsewhere.
Holly has been a part of the Health First family for an incredible 16 years. During that time, her caring hands, empathetic heart, and infectious positivity have left a lasting impact on her clients, coworkers, and the broader Bonnyville community. She has been a true leader on our rehabilitation team—always client-focused, always professional, and always committed to providing compassionate care.
JF and Nicol would like to express our deepest gratitude to Holly for her years of dedicated service. We are so thankful for the journey we've shared and are incredibly proud of the legacy she leaves behind at Health First Physiotherapy.
We’re excited for what’s ahead for Holly as she transitions to Cedar Chiropractic, joining David Parker and his team. Holly will begin seeing clients at her new location starting August 25, 2025, and she looks forward to continuing care for her loyal clientele as well as welcoming new faces.
Her final day with us will be mid-August. Until then, please join us in thanking Holly for her incredible contributions and wishing her all the best in this next chapter! 💚

📢 Big News from Health First Physiotherapy! 🏥
After 22 incredible years of serving the Bonnyville community, we’re thrilled to announce a new chapter for Health First Physiotherapy — and it’s all about bringing even better care closer to home. 💙
We’re joining forces with Dr. Louis Coetzee and his MDSPASM Clinic to create a new, collaborative venture right here in Bonnyville. You may remember Dr. Coetzee from his 16 years in family practice in Bonnyville — he now focuses exclusively on pain management and interventional spine/joint care. He has been offering these services within the Health First Physiotherapy office for the last 2 years, but now it’s time to grow!
🧠💉 What’s New?
• Advanced treatments like steroid injections, PRP, and viscosupplementation will now be available locally — no more traveling out of town for these specialized services.
• We’re moving into a new space in the Baker Tilly building, where physiotherapy and medical pain interventions will be offered under one roof and one name MDSPASM Clinic!
• This means more connected care, better outcomes, and faster access to the treatments you need.
👣 How it Works:
• Physiotherapy is still open to everyone, no referral needed, just call and we’ll get you in!
• Dr. Coetzee’s services require a physician referral and are offered through the new MDSPASM CLINIC (Musculoskeletal and Spine Assessment Clinic).
🏗️ We’re staying at our current location for now while the new clinic is being renovated. We’ll keep you posted on the move-in date and our grand opening!
