On Aug. 11th we were in St. Paul celebrating the Feast of St. Clare. There was a potluck meal at the Seniors Hall after the mass. As I went past one of the rooms in the hall, I noticed some sewing machines. As luck would have it some of the Ladies from the St. Paul Quilt club were busy sewing. When I mentioned that I was a member of the Quilt club in Bonnyville and also was a volunteer in our Hospital Giftshop they said “ Oh, we have some quilts to donate to your hospital”. They donated three baby quilts and I sold one today even before it had a chance to be on display.

Sr. Marie Therese Laberge, a sister of Charity Notre Dame D’Evron, passed away at Providence Centre on June 27th, 2026, age 107 years.
The Mass for Sr. Laberge will take place in the chapel at Providence Centre on July 7th, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
