THANK YOU 💛

Next week is our final week in business. I can’t believe how fast this past year has gone. It feels like just yesterday I was announcing the grand opening of my new studio and fully stepping into solopreneurship.

I’ve been reflecting on my business this past week as I sell off my equipment and finalize my arrangements in Alberta. And all I can think about is the deep gratitude I have for everyone. So THANK YOU 💛

Thank you for booking appointments. Thank you for sharing my business to your friends and family. Thank you for the social media shoutouts, the likes, and the comments. Thank you for the glowing reviews and the amazing conversations. Thank you for taking a chance on me and helping me grow, not only as a person but as an RMT and business owner.

It’s been an honour serving the Bowmanville community for the past 3 years.

In celebration of my business and of my patients, any appointments booked between August 22nd and August 26th will receive a 13% discount on their appointment.

Discount can be applied to both massage therapy appointments and reiki services.

ANNOUNCEMENT 💛

I would like to start this announcement off with a huge thank you to all of our clients that have supported us this past year. When I opened Major Massage Therapy in July of 2021, I didn’t think it would grow this much in such a short time. You have all made my dreams come true with your continued support. It’s with a heavy heart that I make this bittersweet announcement.

I have made the decision to close Major Massage Therapy effective September 1st, 2022. I have been offered an amazing opportunity in Alberta and will be moving my practice across the country. I have been trying to find another massage therapist to take over my business but unfortunately, this has not been possible.

Instead, I will be referring my entire practice to other practitioners in the area. If you are a current patient or client of ours, please check your inbox and spam folders in your email for important information.

I have extended my hours for the summer before my move. My updated schedule can be found on our online booking page. Please note mobile appointments are no longer available to accommodate for this. I STRONGLY suggest you pre-book your appointments for the rest of the summer!

If you have any questions for me at all, please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you again to everyone who has made my business possible and I wish everyone the best in the future.

UPDATE:

We have found another RMT to cover all massage therapy appointments during these two weeks. Online booking with Cherry-Ann is now live!

Cherry-Ann will be available from 12-6pm on select days from July 2-16th. Our admin team will still be available for all insurance or direct billing concerns, appointment booking, and general inquiries.

Rhiannon will be back at the studio on Monday July 18th.

VACATION NOTICE 🏔

Rhiannon will be on vacation from July 2-16, 2022. Please see the update below:

I am currently trying to find another RMT to cover all massage therapy appointments while I’m away. That means you will still be able to book during the first half of July! If you already have an appointment booked during that time, it will either be rescheduled or covered by another massage therapist.

Michelle and Krista will also be open for bookings during this time, so our studio will remain open while I’m away.

Hopefully, this is the last time I will ever have to make a post about masks.

Effective June 11, 2022 face masks or coverings are NO LONGER required in healthcare settings.

We have updated our screening survey to reflect this update. We understand that not everyone is comfortable going maskless at this point, and we will continue to respect everyone’s personal choice on the matter.

If you would like your practitioner to wear a mask during your appointment, please select this option in your screening survey.

REMINDER: All though the pandemic seems to be coming to an end, please DO NOT come to your appointment if you are sick, even if you test negative for COVID-19 (because yes this keeps happening). Just like pre-COVID times, stay home if you’re feeling unwell 🤧.

We also ask that you give us as much notice as possible when cancelling if your sick. This may not always be possible, but if you know you’re coming down with something well before your appointment, please don’t wait it out. Reschedule.

EFFECTIVE JUNE 15TH…

Rhiannon will no longer be accepting new patients after June 15th, 2022. She will be accepting patients strictly by REFERRAL (i.e. friend/family, healthcare professional, doctor) as her schedule permits.

“To ensure my patients are receiving timely and high quality care, I will be closing my schedule to the general public starting in June 15th. I will be accepting new patients by referral only when my schedule permits. All Initial Visits booked before this date will be honoured.
