Outside of current clients I will be away June 11-15 as my family picks up, moves and somewhat settles 😅 into our new home it's a big bittersweet transition!

Please note, my home is moving but my work is not!
I'll continue offering in home support across Durham and you'll still find in in-clinic in Bowmanville just as always!

And while I've already been supporting families in Peterborough, I'm excited too share that I'll be growing my availablity in Peterborough and the surrounding areas ❤️
Expanding my reach there feels like such a natural next step and I'm grateful for the opportunity to support even more families in the community.

Most moms are handed a pump… but not actually taught how to use it.



One of the biggest things I help moms with during pumping appointments is understanding pump modes and settings — because using the right mode at the right time can help support comfort, milk flow, and overall pumping efficiency.

✨ Stimulation/massage mode = helps trigger letdown
✨ Expression mode = supports milk removal after milk starts flowing
Momcozy M5 Smart also has a third mode which combines the two!

Many wearable pumps now also allow moms to adjust suction levels and modes more easily throughout a session, which can help make pumping feel more manageable and easier to fit into daily life.

There were moments in early motherhood that felt a lot heavier than I expected.

I remember being so sleep deprived I barely recognized myself.
Feeling overstimulated and touched out.
Feeling trapped at home some days.
Struggling emotionally while also feeling guilty for struggling at all.

And because I loved my babies so much… I felt ashamed admitting any of it.

That’s the hard thing about maternal mental health.

So many moms are silently carrying anxiety, overwhelm, loneliness, rage, shame, or exhaustion while still showing up every single day for everyone around them.

This is one reason I care so deeply about checking in on moms during my visits — not just babies.

I want moms to feel seen too.

Motherhood is beautiful.

But it can also feel incredibly heavy sometimes.

The mental load.
The overstimulation.
The pressure to do everything “right.”
The exhaustion that sits deep in your bones.
The way you can love your children endlessly and still feel overwhelmed some days.

So many moms are carrying so much quietly.

Trying their best while running on empty.
Missing pieces of themselves while giving everything to everyone else.
Wondering if they’re doing enough.

And yet… they keep showing up.

In the middle of the mess, the guilt, the dishes, the night wakings, the worry, the love, the joy, the chaos.

They keep loving hard.
