IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization) uses a smooth, bladed tool to glide over the skin and soft tissue layers beneath.
It starts with light strokes to identify areas of tension or restriction, then uses more targeted pressure to treat them.
The goal is to improve tissue pliability, increase local blood flow, and restore range of motion. People often notice less tension, less stiffness, and smoother movement.
