Tricep pushups with dumbbell rows are a great way to challenge upper body strength, core stability, and control all in one movement. 💪

Start by gripping the dumbbells during your pushup to keep your wrists neutral and place more emphasis on the triceps. Once you press back up, stabilize through your core and perform a controlled single-arm dumbbell row before alternating sides.

This combo exercise targets the triceps, chest, back, shoulders, and core while also improving balance and coordination. The key is maintaining a strong plank position throughout the movement—avoid rotating through the hips or rushing the row.

Slow, controlled reps will always beat speed. Focus on form, stability, and quality movement. 🔥

How to perform it:

✔ Extend your arms out for stability
✔ Bring your knees to 90 degrees (tabletop position)
✔ Slowly lower one foot to tap the ground
✔ Return to start and alternate sides
👉 Keep your lower back controlled against the floor

Sciatica pain is a common problem among about 40% of Canadians. It is characterized by a sharp, shooting pain that runs down from your lower back to your toes. The pain may resolve on its own if mild. However, it is recommended to get treatment if the pain persists or doesn’t let you perform daily activities. Chiropractic care is one of the safest and most natural treatments for the condition. It helps relieve the pain without depending on pain meds or surgery. So, let’s dig a little deeper into whether you should see a chiropractor for sciatica pain relief or not. Rolled your ankle on a hike? 🥾
"Walking it off" is a recipe for future trips and falls. A sprain affects the ligaments, the bones, and your brain's ability to balance.
At Physiotherapy First, we use a combination of Chiropractic adjustments to the foot bones and Physiotherapy for ligament stability to get you back on your feet.

Low back stiffness? Start with the basics.
Bridges are a simple and effective exercise to help improve mobility, activate the glutes, and gently support the lower back.
This movement helps to:
✔ Stretch and mobilize the low back
✔ Activate the glutes and core
✔ Improve hip stability
✔ Reduce tension from prolonged sitting
👉 Lie flat on your back with knees bent
👉 Press through your heels
👉 Lift your hips slowly toward the ceiling
👉 Hold briefly, then lower with control
Focus on smooth, controlled movement, not height. Consistency and proper form make all the difference.
Move better. Feel stronger. Stay active.

More than a "Spa Day"—it’s a "Body Reset." 🛠️✨

We often wait until we can barely move our shoulders before booking a massage. But in a multidisciplinary setting, Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) is about proactive maintenance, not just a one-time indulgence.

If you’re training at the gym, sitting at a desk, or managing the daily hustle of Brampton life, your muscles are constantly under tension.

Don't wait for the "burnout." Give your muscles the recovery they deserve.
