A cherished resident from Lighthouse Lane at Faith Manor was all smiles as she prepared to attend her granddaughter's wedding. 💍👰🏻‍♀️

With the help of our dedicated care partners, she was beautifully dressed and ready for this very special occasion. As she made her way through the halls, care partners and fellow residents cheered her on and shared heartfelt compliments, adding to the excitement of the day.

Being able to celebrate such an important family milestone brought her immense joy, and it was our privilege to help make the day possible. 🤍

We were pleased to welcome Sarah Masonovic, Education and Home Support Representative from the Ontario Association of Residents' Councils, to our recent Resident Council meeting at Faith Manor.

Sarah shared valuable information about the programs, resources, and supports available through OARC, while also providing insight into her role and answering questions from council members.

Bubbles, Behind-the-Scenes & Big Smiles! 🫧😊

Grace Manor residents recently enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of our kitchen and laundry department. From seeing how meals are prepared to exploring our industrial laundry room, the day was filled with laughter, learning, and of course, bubbles!

With support from our Champions of Change, this meaningful experience reflected the Eden Alternative philosophy by fostering curiosity, connection, and purpose while helping combat boredom, loneliness, and helplessness. 💙

Free Education for Long-Term Care Residents and Families! *Great for tenants too!*

The PoET (Prevention of Error-Based Transfers) Team will be discussing the ins and outs of decision-making in long-term care according to the Ontario Health Care Consent Act at 2:00pm on June 4th. Join us and bring questions! This session, we will be going over:

What Information does the Substitute Decision Maker Need?

Each session will provide twenty minutes of education on a single ethics-related topic, and ten minutes for Q&A.
