Step #6: Pranayama

Anulom Vilom (Alternate Nostril Breathing) is one of the most effective pranayama (breathing exercises) to purify the mind and body therefore balancing your doshas (remember doshas). This prananyama offers benefits in curing most of the internal body conditions and is very useful in releasing stress and anxiety.

For you to reap the pranayama benefits, it is important that you practice it daily for 5 to 6 minutes. Inhale from one nostril at one time and release the breath through the other nostril. You alternate between the two nostril at a regular comfortable pace. See picture below.

The word Om has a cosmic energy which gives us positive vibes and makes us feel pure. Find a quiet place and sit comfortably with your legs crossed. Chant the word "AUM" deep from your belly. Step # 4: Take Weekly Salt Baths
Soaking for at least 20 minutes a week in a salt bath helps to get rid of the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies of any negativity absorbed throughout the week. Simply combine a cup of Epsom Salt, a cup of Sea Salt and a ½ cup of Baking Soda. Stir together and pour into running water. Soak for at least 20 minutes and as you pull the drain, imagine all your stress from the week disappearing down the drain. You’ll feel renewed, restored and revitalized.

If you keep your thoughts positive by reading uplifting material, hanging around happy and positive people, you will begin to restore your aura. Try to avoid negative people. What is aura?
Aura is a electromagentic field surrounding your body that represents your physical, mental, emotional as well as spiritual energies. The aura is often seen a mix of fine coloured frequencies where each colour define its own individual nature and characteristics. Healthy person has a bright aura, dull aura signifies mental or physical unhealthiness.

If we study our vedas especially the yoga sutras we will come to know the subtle anatomy of our human chakra system which is actually a very important aspect of our Aura. Spiritually we can say that aura is our very own soul nature, it reflects our innermost desires and feelings, emotions etc.

Let us know if you feel that they are true match to your choice.

1. Freedom loving
Freedom is important to you - nothing is worse than when you feel tied down. You may find you move jobs or location frequently because the idea of staying in one place too long unnerves you.
