Pregnancy, reproductive and infant loss can bring a complicated kind of grief — one that deserves acknowledgment, compassion, and support.

At Lighthouse, we’re grateful to have a practitioner who specializes in grief and loss, including reproductive loss, and who can provide a safe space to navigate this experience.

Meet Jillian — therapeutic play practitioner, meditation specialist, matcha enthusiast, dog mom, and someone who believes the little everyday moments matter.

Another new face at Lighthouse! 🌱 Please join us in welcoming Alex Paiva to the team. 🕯️

Alex brings a creative, down-to-earth approach to trauma work, blending EMDR, play-based and somatic tools, and family-systems approaches so kids and teens can process hard things without having to relive every detail or find the “perfect” words. Nearly two decades in child welfare, addictions, and family violence work means Alex also supports caregivers and care teams in applying trauma-informed practice.

Outside of sessions, you’ll find Alex at the cabin with a very large coffee, at a live rock show, or at home with a husband, a son, two dogs, and a turtle. 🐢

Five years ago, Lighthouse started with two people, a big dream, and a whole lot of heart.

Today, that little dream has grown into a team of 16 incredible practitioners, countless client connections, and a space where people can feel seen, supported, and understood.

We’ve grown, learned, laughed, navigated challenges, celebrated wins, and continued to believe in the same thing we did on day one: everyone deserves a place to find their light. 🌱
