The structure is built. The secondary steel and framing is detailed. Now it’s time for the building to start looking like a building.
This is the wall cladding phase.
Wall Cladding refers to the corrugated metal sheets, IMP panels and various other composite panels that get installed on the walls and of the structure. These panels are the outer skin of the building, they’re what protects everything inside from the elements, contributes to the building’s insulation performance, provides greater bracing, stability to the structure and gives it that clean, finished look.
Installation is precision work. Panels are staged on the ground, lifted into position by hand (or various material handling units) and fastened in sequence; one panel at a time, one bay at a time, to ensure alignment and weathertight coverage across the entire wall system.
In this photo you can see exactly where we are in the process; one side panelled and complete, the other side framed and ready. The transformation happens fast once cladding begins.
