Miss Vivian Update - Vivian has been doing great! Full of s***k, has had her hooves trimmed a couple of times so they are looking better and she has been hanging with the mini donks.

Donkeys and horses don’t always speak the same language even though all of these gals and guy are around the same size! And then when I think they may not work out together? In comes everyone’s friend - Doyle 😂 - he and Vivian have become fast friends. She puts him in his spot and he keeps coming back for more lol

Vivian Update - Vivian has some moves! Not sure how much I trust her spinning around me and kicking up but she didn’t make contact … yet! 😂 still eating well and settling in great. You can see how much she’s letting her guard down which is great still more work to be done

Another Vivvy update - continuing to do well and I’d say gaining some weight which is good. Definitely needs more handling and getting used to people but she’s settling in well.

Update on Vivian who has been out of quarantine. Vet check completed, dewormed and eating like a champ. It has been noted she could gain a few pounds so we are on it! She is getting used to being around the barn outside and me more and more. Not as skittish and leads quite well!

Miss Vivian update - still doing well and eating well! Been just sitting in the stall with her for bits at a time when I can and taking her out for walks. She’s less skittish for sure. She has seen the rest of the herd and they her without any close contact for now still.

She had her hooves trimmed today and a huge thank you to Justin for taking her on so quickly - apparently she did fabulous for him and hooves look so much better ! Next appointment is vet check on Tuesday and fingers crossed alls well.

She’s loving her hay! ❤️

So there is a new member to our herd here - mini horse (mare) that needs some TLC and a soft place to land and hopefully she has found it here. She’s in quarantine now for a bit from the other herd members and will have vet checked as soon as possible. She is eating good and still skittish but spending some time with her daily will be important.

I’ve decided to name her Vivian or Viv for short after someone important in my life being my cousin whose nickname is Vivian! My cousin was with me when I got her and had all the ‘feels’ for Viv and no doubt will be invested in her! And who has - along with her daughter - helped me at the barn and always getting treats and things for the herd.

I will see if we can get her the TLC and all the support she needs to get healthier and stronger. Welcome Viv! ❤️
