👣 Did you know Metatarsus Adductus can persist into adulthood?
Metatarsus Adductus is a foot alignment condition where the front part of the foot curves inward. While it’s often identified during childhood, some people continue to have the condition into adulthood—and may not realize it could be contributing to their foot discomfort.
Adults with metatarsus adductus may experience:
🔹 Pain or discomfort along the outside of the foot
🔹 Foot fatigue after standing or walking
🔹 Difficulty finding comfortable, properly fitting footwear
🔹 Increased pressure and callus formation
🔹 Changes in walking mechanics
🔹 Discomfort that may extend to the knees, hips, or lower back
The good news? You don’t have to simply live with foot discomfort. 👣
At Aldershot Foot Clinic & Mobile Services, our in-house Chiropodist can assess your foot structure, gait, and biomechanics to determine how your foot alignment may be affecting you.
Depending on your individual needs, recommendations may include custom orthotics, footwear modifications, exercises, or other conservative treatment options.
