Our adorable little visitor wasted no time taking the big chair and getting straight to work. 👶💼
His typing skills were still a work in progress, but was an expert at making our team (especially mom) smile! 💗

Today, we are celebrating an extraordinary milestone – 60 years since Don first joined Smith’s on October 13, 1966! 🎉
Throughout six remarkable decades, Don has served families with honesty and compassion, led our team with integrity and generosity, and given tirelessly to the communities we are so proud to call home. His dedication as a funeral director, business owner, community leader and humanitarian has touched countless lives and helped shape Smith’s into what it is today.
Please join us in congratulating Don on 60 incredible years of service, leadership and care. We are immensely proud of all he has accomplished – and are deeply grateful for the way he inspires us to make a positive difference in the lives of others.💙

Medical Assistance in Dying is a deeply personal and often complex topic, and having access to clear, compassionate information can make a meaningful difference for individuals and families considering end-of-life options.

Next Wednesday, the Empowered Seniors Speaker Series is hosting a thoughtful educational session covering current MAiD legislation in Canada, how the process works, and the supports available to those navigating these decisions.

This free session is intended to provide information, clarity and space for a respectful conversation around a subject that can be difficult to discuss.

Smith’s is proud to support the YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford’s Peace Medal Breakfast as a Youth Table Sponsor, helping local young people attend and experience this meaningful event.
Each year, Peace Medals recognize remarkable individuals and groups who demonstrate the values of P-E-A-C-E through their contributions - without relying on special status, wealth or resources. Their compassion and commitment are creating positive change in our community and beyond.
