Yug Purush MahaMandeleshwar Swami Parmanand Giri Ji Maharaj. Born in the late 30’s in Mawie Dham near Ganges. He was accepted as a disciple by his Guru Swami Akhandanand Ji Maharaji. He became a saint and has been recognized as a Karma Yogi as well as Gyani Yogi, a Self-Realised Master.
He also addressed the World Millennium Peace Summit of Spiritual leaders in 2000 at the United Nations.
He authored over 150 books and numerous discourses on Yoga & Vedanta.
His many humanitarian projects including Schools, hospitals, Ashrams, old age homes, cow shelters are running tirelessly for the upliftment of the society.

Nature Retreat was organized at Trent River Trent River Cottages by Vedic Institute Of Canada from Sept 16-18 Sept 2024.. Yogis attended a Nature Retreat at the Vedic Institute of Canada new location (coming soon.) It is a beautiful place to enjoy Nature, Especially the gorgeous Sunrise. Participants from the Burlington and Oakville senior group headed by Deepak Ji and Yatinder Ji enjoyed the retreat. It was a great event where we shared a positive spiritual experience.
Self Realization Yoga, Trent River tour by Pontoon, special group bon fire were the main attractions of the event .Yogis enjoyed delicious food and snacks.
