✨ This is why I do what I do.

Today was one of my Happy Gut client Results Visits, and watching everything finally click for her was incredibly rewarding.

In just a few short months she has:
✔️ Lost 10 lbs — and kept it off.
✔️ Watched the inflammation in her face and neck noticeably decrease within the first 1–2 weeks.
✔️ Started sleeping through the night.
✔️ Completely eliminated the constant sugar cravings that used to have her reaching for candy or chocolate after every meal.
✔️ Found balanced energy and more stable moods because she finally understands how to build meals that support her blood sugar.
✔️ Created sustainable stress-management habits like meditation that she now looks forward to.

She even told me the meal plans removed all the confusion around food. No more wondering what to eat. No more guessing. Just a clear plan she could actually stick with.

And today we uncovered *why* she’s struggled with digestive issues and recurring infections for so much of her life.

Her testing revealed:
• H. pylori
• A parasite
• Candida overgrowth
• Low digestive enzyme function

Now comes the exciting part.

Instead of throwing harsh protocols at her, she has a personalized, step-by-step roadmap over the next four months to gently rebalance her gut, support her body’s natural defenses, and restore a healthy microbiome while protecting the beneficial bacteria that help keep her well.

This is what root-cause care looks like.

Not masking symptoms.
Not guessing.
Not another restrictive diet.

Just understanding what your body is trying to tell you—and giving it exactly what it needs to restore itself (just like it’s built to do!)

If you’ve been told your labs are “normal” but you still don’t feel like yourself, your symptoms deserve a deeper investigation. ❤️

07/29/2026

Your labs are “normal,” but you still feel exhausted, bloated, anxious, struggle with cravings, can’t lose weight, have headaches, or your hormones feel completely out of balance.

And you’re told...

➡️ “Everything looks fine.”

Here’s the truth 💣

“Normal” doesn’t always mean healthy.** It often just means you don’t have a diagnosable disease.

Our healthcare system is incredible when it comes to emergencies, acute illness, trauma, surgery, and life-saving interventions. But if your goal is to feel vibrant, energetic, symptom-free, and truly healthy, that’s rarely where the journey ends.

No one is going to care about your health as much as you do.

If you want to feel your best, you have to become your own advocate. Keep asking questions. Keep looking for answers. Don’t settle just because you’ve been told everything is “normal.”

Your symptoms are communication. They’re your body’s way of telling you that something needs attention.

You deserve more than being told to “wait until it gets worse.”

Take responsibility for your health. Learn how your body works. Look for the root cause instead of chasing symptoms.

Because your future health is built by the decisions you make today.

❤️ Don’t compromise on the quality of your life just because someone else couldn’t find the answer.
I exist in this capacity to help you do just that, reach out to book a free call with me to learn more 💛

If you’ve been told your hormones are the problem...

I want you to look at them differently.

Your hormones don’t exist in isolation.

They’re constantly responding to signals from the rest of your body.

✨ Your blood sugar.
✨ Your gut health.
✨ Your nutrient status.
✨ Your nervous system.
✨ Your sleep.
✨ Your inflammation.
✨ Your liver.
✨ Your microbiome.
✨ Your stress levels.
✨ Your environment.

Think of your hormones as the dashboard lights in your car 🚨

When the “check engine” light comes on, you don’t remove the bulb.

You figure out *why* it came on.

The same is true for your body.

Low progesterone? Painful periods? PMS? Perimenopause symptoms? Low energy? Weight gain?

Those may be the *result* of what’s happening upstream—not necessarily where the story begins.

This is why so many women spend years chasing hormone supplements or medications without seeing lasting change.

Because no one helped them understand what their hormones were responding to in the first place.

When you support the systems that create healthy hormones—your digestion, blood sugar, stress response, mineral status, sleep, and nutrition (exactly what we do inside my happy gut reset program) then your hormones have the environment they need to function much better.

Your body isn’t working against you.

It’s communicating with you.

The question is: are you listening to what it’s trying to say?

❤️ Ninu

P.S. as a 43 year old woman, I’ve been on bioidentical hormones for 18 months, but what might be surprising is that I had NO symptoms prior to starting them. I still have a pain free cycle every month, no pms etc just as I did prior to starting. I know what my hormones are doing as I test them yearly (with the DUTCH hormone test I run for myself and clients). So I’m able to stay in good symptom-free health, by using this data to drive my decisions 💕

**These results stopped me in my tracks.**

One of my clients was newly diagnosed with ulcerative colitis earlier this year.

In **February 2025**, her inflammatory markers showed:
➡️ F***l calprotectin: **1280** ‼️⛔️
➡️ CRP: **3.6**‼️⛔️

She joined my Happy Reset Program in **April**.

Just **2 months later**, in **June**:
✅ F***l calprotectin: **40**
✅ CRP: **1.1 (normal)**

While every person is different and I can never promise results like these, this is exactly why I believe in looking at the body as a connected system instead of chasing symptoms.

We didn’t just throw supplements at her.

During the first few weeks we focused on building the foundation:
✔️ Lowering inflammation through nutrition
✔️ Stabilizing blood sugar
✔️ Supporting digestion with simple daily habits
✔️ Improving bowel habits
✔️ Creating a personalized plan based on her history, symptoms, and goals

Then we layered in:
✔️ Nervous system regulation and stress reduction
✔️ Environmental changes to reduce unnecessary inflammatory burden
✔️ Functional stool testing to understand what was driving inflammation in *her* gut
✔️ A personalized herbal protocol based on those findings

And this week, we’re adding another piece of the puzzle by reviewing her mineral status so we can continue supporting healing from the ground up.

Restoring health is not about a magic supplement or one perfect diet.

It’s about understanding **why** the body is inflamed in the first place and systematically removing obstacles while giving it what it needs to repair.

I’m incredibly proud of the work she’s put in. These results are a reflection of her consistency and commitment.

This is what a root-cause approach looks like. ❤️

One of the biggest mistakes I see women make (especially in perimenopause) is treating carbohydrates like they’re the enemy.

The better question is:
**What does your body need right now?**

Your muscles are the biggest “sink” for glucose. When you’re moving—whether it’s a brisk walk, strength training, hiking, or chasing your kids—they’re actively pulling sugar out of your bloodstream to use as fuel.

That means the same carbohydrate your body may struggle with while sitting at a desk can be handled very differently when you’re active.

And this becomes even more important during perimenopause.

As estrogen declines, many women become less insulin sensitive. In simple terms, your body has to work harder to keep blood sugar stable. That’s one reason why you may notice:

🍩More cravings
🔻Energy crashes
⚖️Stubborn weight gain around the middle
😠Feeling “hangry” more often

Instead of fearing carbs, start thinking about **timing** them.

Pair more of your carbohydrate intake with the times your body actually needs it:
✔️ Before a workout for energy
✔️ During longer endurance activities if needed
✔️ After exercise to replenish muscle glycogen and support recovery

This doesn’t mean eating processed sweets all day. It means understanding that context matters.

A Rice Krispies Square while sitting on the couch and a Rice Krispies Square while you’re out walking or fueling a workout are not metabolically identical.

Your body isn’t a calculator.
It’s a dynamic system.

Work *with* your physiology instead of fighting it.

Strategies like this are a tiny fraction of what I teach women inside my Happy Gyt Reset Progeam ❤️ DM me to learn more about how we can work together to support your gut, hormones and metabolism over 6 months together 👯‍♀️

If you’re doing *everything right* with food and exercise... but still struggling with bloating, fatigue, cravings, stubborn weight, poor sleep, PMS, anxiety or brain fog, this is for you.

We’ve been taught that health comes down to two things:
🥗 Eat better.
🏋️ Exercise more.

Those matter. But they’re only **two pieces of a much bigger puzzle.**

Your body is an interconnected system.

If your gut microbiome is out of balance, nutrients aren’t absorbed properly.

If your nervous system is stuck in fight-or-flight, digestion, hormone production and recovery suffer.

If your blood sugar is constantly swinging, cravings and energy crashes follow.

If your minerals are depleted at the cellular level, your metabolism, thyroid, adrenals and hormones can’t function optimally.

And that’s before we even consider inflammation, sleep quality, stress, toxin exposure and gut infections.

The problem isn’t that diet and exercise don’t matter.

The problem is that many women have been told they’re the **only** things that matter.

So they keep changing diets.
They push harder in the gym.
They blame themselves when nothing changes.

When in reality, they’re trying to solve a whole-body problem with just two tools.

Real health comes from understanding how all of these systems work together—and finding the root causes that are keeping your body stuck.

Stop asking,
*”What’s the next diet?”*

Start asking,
*”What is my body trying to tell me?”*

✨ That’s where lasting change begins.

Most women have no idea they’re running low on the very minerals that power their energy, metabolism, thyroid, stress resilience, sleep, and hormone health.

That’s why I love the HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis).

It goes far beyond asking, “Are you deficient?” It helps uncover patterns in how your body is actually using and regulating key minerals over the past few months—not just what’s circulating in your blood at one moment in time.

Your results can provide valuable insight into things like:
✨ Mineral imbalances
✨ Chronic stress patterns
✨ Blood sugar regulation trends
✨ Thyroid-related patterns
✨ Adrenal function
✨ Toxic metal exposure
✨ Why you may still feel exhausted despite “normal” blood work

The best part? Your results don’t just give you more information—they give us direction.

Instead of guessing which supplements to take or following generic wellness advice, we create a personalized plan based on what your body is telling us.

No test is perfect, and HTMA isn’t used to diagnose disease. But when interpreted alongside your symptoms and health history, it can be an incredibly powerful tool for understanding what may be contributing to fatigue, poor sleep, hormone imbalances, brain fog, low mood, stubborn weight, and other ongoing symptoms.

These are the kinds of results I get excited to walk through with clients, because every graph tells a story, and every story helps us move one step closer to restoring health from the inside out.

Have you ever had your minerals tested?

💩 **Constipation isn’t just about not going to the bathroom.**

It’s one of the most overlooked drivers of hormone imbalances, bloating, fatigue, skin issues, and feeling “off.”

When you’re not having regular, complete bowel movements, your body can’t efficiently eliminate waste, toxins, excess hormones (like estrogen), and byproducts that are meant to leave your body.

Over time, this can contribute to:
⛔️Bloating and abdominal discomfort
👿Increased PMS symptoms
⚖️Estrogen imbalance
🧠Brain fog and fatigue
🪞Breakouts and skin concerns
🫠Feeling sluggish and heavy
🦠Poor gut microbiome health

And here’s the thing...

Many women think they’re “regular,” but they’re only having a bowel movement every 2-3 days, straining, or never feeling fully emptied.

That’s **not** optimal.

A healthy digestive system should typically produce **1-3 well-formed, easy-to-pass bowel movements each day**—without straining or discomfort.

Constipation isn’t the root cause—it’s a symptom.

Low stomach acid, inadequate fibre or fluid intake, nervous system dysregulation, mineral imbalances, thyroid dysfunction, medications, poor bile flow, dysbiosis, bacterial overgrowth, or pelvic floor dysfunction can all play a role.

The goal isn’t to rely on laxatives forever.

The goal is to understand **why** your body isn’t moving waste efficiently in the first place.

Because when your gut functions better, everything from your energy to your hormones has a better chance to thrive.

⬇️Tell me in the comments if you’re brave enough (as this is can be so personal and embarrassing)

Have you struggled with constipation, or did you know it could affect you this much?

Leaky got me sound like a buzz term, but in actual fact, it is a critically important aspect of your health that is either guarding and protect protecting your overall immune system and inflammation levels or creating silently the devastation that you’re experiencing as joint pain, anxiety, skin issues, allergies, and fatigue.

➡️consuming bone broth to try to patch and repair the gut lining is a small step that you can take, but it won’t move the needles substantially and potentially hasn’t changed much for you because we also need to concurrently look at your lifestyle, your stress levels, sleep, nutrition and blood sugar, your mineral and nutrient levels as well as your gut microbiome that might have been contributing to the development of it in the first place.

These are just three of the mistakes I see women making, that lead them to spinning their wheels year after year trying, different diets, different supplements, purchasing random tests, even above and beyond when blood work comes back normal - they still stay stuck.

The issue is they don’t have a proven process or a strategy that integrates the whole body together.

Working with someone who has 20 years of experience in diverse setting, with 8-9 years of education, with hundreds of testimonials means your cut through the confusion, the DIY strategy or single naturopath visits and start seeing results not only faster, but deeper.

Message me if you’d like to learn more about the happy Gut Reset program that takes you through this proven process, with the right testing and action steps you need to reclaim your health ❤️
