We aim to create spaces where people of all abilities can stay active and do what they love. For , we want to highlight some of the ways we support accessibility needs.

For Julie, a longtime swimmer, that support comes in the form of a simple lane sign to let others know she’s visually impaired. It lets others know about her limited peripheral vision, helping her swim safely and independently in any of our pools. With this small tool and staff who understand her needs, she’s able to keep enjoying the water with fewer barriers.

Building accessibility into our facilities means more people can move, play and participate with confidence.

Most trainers were never taught how to adapt movements, modify workouts, or confidently coach athletes with disabilities
