The trapezius and rhomboid muscles need to be engaged (lengthened and shortened) against resistance.
A lacrosse ball/ trigger point ball is okay for temporary relief.
root cause is addressed by movement against resistance or just movement in general.

The IT (iliotibial) band is a non-contractile structure. Unlike muscles.
Meaning it can’t really be “tight” itself.
So we addressed TFL, lateral quadricep, and lateral (distal) fibers of glute max.
The results were incredible… Obviously 😅

Showing a piece of the puzzle of neck and shoulder pain.
Supraspinatus - a little rotator cuff in the shoulder for stability.
Other muscles addressed were the remaining 3 rotator cuff muscles, the neck musculature, and deltoid (posterior and lateral).
Put on some 90s music and just flow.
It’s beautiful.

This matters a lot more than I thought.
People prefer to have insurance direct-billed by the clinic than them having to pay and submit.
What if we did NOT direct bill?
What then?
Would that make someone go somewhere else and keep banging their head against the wall because “physio isn’t working?”
I really wonder sometimes.
But anyway… Yes.
We direct bill most major insurance companies.
We are actually recommended by some.
