There are ways to do private practice that feels gentle, embodied, and aligned with your life — without it taking over.
For me, that looks like a small, intentional practice. I get to hold space for people, help them connect to themselves, gain clarity, and move toward the lives they love — all while being fully present with my 4-year-old. Watching him explore, grow, and experience the world is a kind of magic I don’t want to miss.
Mary Oliver’s words come to mind: “You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.” ❤️ That’s what I’m learning, to show up in my work, my motherhood, my life in a way that feels whole, embodied, and alive.
In a world that can feel overwhelming, honoring our own capacity — what we can truly give and hold — is radical and necessary. Every path looks different, and this is mine: a practice and a life that honor connection, presence, and joy.
I’d love to hear from others, how do you show up in your work and life in a way that feels aligned with what you love?
