After seeing thousands of patients, I can tell you the majority of women come to see me for one of the following reasons:

✨ weight gain
✨ low energy
✨ digestive issues
✨ low libido
✨ headaches
✨ hormonal regulation
✨ mood concerns

At the end of the day, the reason why they want to address these is so they can FEEL BETTER ❤️‍🩹.

With so much information out there, it can be overwhelming when trying to take the first step towards better health. I address the root issues of what is going on, and break it down to simple steps, so my patients can take daily actions to achieve better health.

Movement 💛 Want to feel better? You have to move. 🏃‍♀️

Move your body and move your energy. ✨

How can you feel the best you can feel in the life you have now? Even with the constraints, challenges and obstacles. 💭 Exercise and movement will definitely help.

This is very simple in one sense – move everyday. Walking, running, dancing, biking, swimming, stretching – anything that feels good to you. 🚴

How about moving your energy? Sounds strange? It isn’t. We can get so bogged down by life – work, our responsibilities, our preferences, relationship struggles – that we can literally feel weighed down and unable to move. When this energy gets blocked it can feel terrible: exhaustion, lack of joy, irritability, low mood. So – learn to move your energy! 😃

“How?” you may ask.

Some ways to start: mindset, meditation, mindfulness, breathwork. 🧘‍♀️

If you have a lot of things from your past popping up – seek help to work on this. If you have done that work and are basically fighting with reality – work on letting go. 🤲

I absolutely love this quote. 💜 “If you can change your mind, you can change your life.”

We can’t change the external world. There are a lot of things that are out of our control. The one thing we can do, is notice the way we think about external factors.

This rings true especially in the world we’re living in.

Working on your mindset means examining, and improving the quality of your thoughts. Often thoughts seem automatic and out of our control. This is a story we are telling ourselves or a belief system that may be in our best interest to shift.

Examine your thoughts and limiting beliefs. Contemplate - is that true? Is it helpful? What is a different thought that I can tell myself that is more aligned with what I really want? 🤔💜

Let’s Find The Root! 💜

One of the reasons I love my job is that I get to look at each patient individually and take the time to understand what events lead up to where they are now.

From this perspective, we can make more empowered choices and create the space for them to begin healing, in whatever capacity is best for them. 🙏

Patterns! 💜 With January fully underway I notice people getting back into routines - why not take this as an opportunity to consider which patterns are worth getting back into and consider which may be best to change.

🥯 Do you have a bagel and coffee every morning and end up feeling tired and hungry during the day? Why not make a different breakfast and see if you feel better?

📺 Do you end up watching TV at night because you are so exhausted from your day? Why not consider starting a yoga or stretching practice and see what it does?

💆‍♀️ do you constantly feel overwhelmed by your day-to-day life? Why not work on seeing if there is any space for something different? What would need to be true in order for this to change?
