I thought it was time for a reintroduction!
Hi, I’m Jeni, owner of Peak Alignment Osteopathy and a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner.
I’ve been passionate about natural and alternative approaches to health from a young age. Growing up active in sports, I began experiencing unexplained knee pain at eight years old. It followed me through daily activities and eventually began affecting other areas of my body.
Despite consultations with a variety of health practitioners, I never found an approach that fully resolved what I was experiencing. It wasn’t until I began receiving consistent osteopathic care that I started to experience what “normal” felt like again, with pain-free days becoming more frequent. Even my chronic migraines significantly decreased.
That experience deepened my curiosity about the body, movement, and health. As I learned more about osteopathy, I became drawn to its whole-body approach and gentle, hands-on treatment style. I appreciated the emphasis on looking at the body as a whole rather than focusing solely on where someone may be experiencing discomfort.
The more I learned, the more osteopathy aligned with how I understood the body and the importance of considering how different areas can influence one another. That perspective ultimately led me to pursue osteopathy as a career.
I started practicing in May 2026. Every patient gives me an opportunity to think, assess, and reason through anatomy and osteopathic principles in a different way.
My own experience with osteopathy is a big part of why I chose this profession. It continues to shape the way I approach each patient and treatment.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me and why I chose this profession. If you have any questions about osteopathy or would like to learn more, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Warmly,
Jeni
