Unpopular opinion… maybe. But I think doulas belong in the OR.

Support doesn’t end when plans change.

Families moving into the OR are often stepping into one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. And they without a doubt still deserve reassurance and someone who knows their story.

Sometimes that means staying with the birthing parent while their support person goes with baby to the NICU. And while I know there isn’t always time or space for a doula in the OR, being there in recovery to help process the birth and support those first moments…is just as meaningful.

Support shouldn’t end because the birth plan changed.

I will FOREVER and always, be obsessed with the sweetness of baby toes and feet.

Apparently we’re talking about 2027 babies now ♥️🐝

I swear I was just updating my availability for this year.

Between births, postpartum visits, classes, and all the beautiful families keeping me busy, it’s definitely time for another calendar update.

And a huge thank you to every family who has trusted me to be part of their journey. It truly means the world to me.

Here is to the rest of the year and early 2027 babies.
