WHY INHAND? πŸ’›πŸ΄

As we celebrate 30 years of Inhand Equine Therapy, we’re continuing to ask the riders, trainers, and teams who have been part of our journey: Why do you choose Inhand?

Next up is Stephen Wallace of Lochend Stables.

Stephen shared:

β€œHorse care involves a team, and I value Tina’s opinion as a professional in the industry. Tina brings an outside perspective and new ideas every time, and analyzing the shortcomings in our horse care.”

We believe the best results come from collaboration.
Stephen, thank you for trusting Inhand and for being part of our journey.

And to all of our amazing clients, thank you for helping us celebrate 30 years in the industry. We truly couldn't do this without you!

We’re happy to share this special photo of Kathy McAra and her beautiful dog, Lyric, who were the lucky winners of our Dog Draw! πŸΆπŸ’—

Lyric received the gift of monthly canine therapy sessions with Inhand, giving us another wonderful opportunity to support the health, comfort, and wellbeing of one of the four-legged members of our community.

We love celebrating our canine clients just as much as our equine ones.

Congratulations again to Kathy and Lyric!

Because dogs deserve thoughtful bodywork too. πŸΎπŸ’—

At Inhand, our canine therapy sessions are tailored to the individual dog, their comfort, and their needs.

Each session begins with assessment and may incorporate a combination of soft tissue massage, myofascial release, acupressure, stretching, red light therapy, PEMF, photonic therapy, cranial sacral therapy, or kinesiology taping. Most importantly, sessions are dog-directed, allowing your dog to guide the pace of the work.

Whether you're supporting mobility, recovery, performance, or overall wellness, our goal is simple:

Help your dog move freely, comfortably, and happily. 🐢✨

Learn more about our Canine Therapy Services and book a session through the Inhand website.

WHY INHAND? πŸ’›πŸ΄

As we celebrate 30 years of Inhand Equine Therapy, we're asking the clients who have trusted us throughout the years to share why they choose Inhand.

Today, we're with Alex Grayton of Grayton Farms.

Alex shared:

"We have been using Inhand for a number of years, decades in fact, but the most important reason is how integrated the therapists are with the team. The farriers, the vets, the grooms, ensuring we're all doing our part to keep our horses healthy."

This is exactly what we believe whole-horse care should look like. It's about communication, collaboration, and bringing the right people together around the horse so everyone can work toward the same goal.

We are incredibly grateful to the Grayton Farms team for trusting Inhand for so many years and for being part of our 30-year journey.

Thank you for helping us continue to learn, collaborate, and Strive for Mastery. πŸ’›

Have a great weekend, everyone! πŸ’›πŸ΄

There is a lot of work that happens behind the scenes before we ever step into the arena, the barn, or your horse’s stall. πŸ‘’πŸ΄

These boots have walked countless barn aisles, travelled countless kilometres, stood through long days, muddy days, cold days, hot days, and some pretty unforgettable moments with horses and their people. They have also shared in some pretty funny LAUGHS!

But more than that, these boots belong to a team that is committed to showing up every day ready to learn, observe, adapt, and provide the very best care we can.

Because being an equine professional means more than putting on your boots and going to work.

It means continuing to learn.
It means asking questions.
It means looking deeper.
It means working together.
It means caring about the horse in front of you.

And yes... sometimes it means just having a laugh. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘’

We are proud of the team behind the boots and the dedication they bring to every client, every horse, and every day.

Striving for Mastery. πŸ’—

Whole Horse, Full Circle of Wellness

WHY WE CHOSE DR. CHAD HEWLETT 🐴🧠

When we created Whole Horse, Full Circle of Wellness, we knew we wanted instructors who truly believe in looking at the horse as a whole.

That's why we chose Dr. Chad Hewlett.

Chad is a champion of the team approach, and his portion of the course will take participants region by region through the horse's body, helping us better understand what we're actually seeing during movement assessment.

For bodyworkers, therapists, trainers, and other equine professionals, this means going beyond simply observing movement.

What are we looking for?

What does the latest research tell us?

What is the nervous system actually communicating?

And when we introduce techniques such as Neuroactivation Technique, how do we recognize the body's feedback and understand its protective response?

These are the questions that help us move from simply seeing a response to understanding why the body is responding that way.

This is exactly why Whole Horse, Full Circle of Wellness is such a unique educational experience. Veterinary science, neuro-myofascial release, nervous system understanding, and classical training perspectives are being brought together to create a more complete picture of the horse.

WHY INHAND?

As we celebrate 30 years of Inhand Equine Therapy, we're asking the clients who have been part of our journey to share why they continue to choose Inhand.

This time, we're chatting with Trish Mrakawa, owner, trainer, and head coach of Willow Grove Stable Inc.

Trish may just be one of Tina's very first clients, having trusted Inhand for nearly the entire 30-year journey.

We love what Trish shared about Tina's approach:

"Tina comes with an open mind to get to the root cause of what is going on. She's not afraid to dig deep and get answers from other professionals. She works with vets, other practitioners, and I just love the education part of what Tina has done with Inhand."

That openness, collaboration, curiosity, and commitment to education have been at the heart of Inhand from the very beginning.

Thank you, Trish, for trusting us for so many years and for being part of the Inhand story. We are incredibly grateful for clients like you who have grown alongside us through three decades of learning, evolving, and Striving for Mastery. πŸ’›
