I have never been this happy. Does that mean my life has been easy and perfect? Umm.. absolutely not. But what it does mean is that I’m changing my perspective on what my journey is supposed to look like. Things I would have considered hard are now just the things I’m working through. I stopped worrying about the opinions of people that I wouldn’t ask for advice from in the first place. I reminded myself that everything that is happening to me is happening FOR ME. That everything I go through good or bad teaches me something useful to understand my past, navigate my present, or guide my future. To look into the eyes of my kids if I needed a reminder of the immense gratitude I have for life. I believe that I’m worthy of this life, that’s why it’s now mine. xo
