Full Moon in Aquarius: When Your Heart and Mind Are Asking for Different Things
There is something about a Full Moon that feels impossible to ignore.
You might feel more alive than usual. More emotional. More energized. Or perhaps completely overwhelmed.
Sleep can become restless. Emotions rise to the surface. Conversations you've been avoiding suddenly happen. Things that have been hidden have a way of revealing themselves.
The Full Moon has a way of illuminating what has been sitting just beneath our awareness.
If these next few days feel intense, pay attention.
What is asking to be seen?
What can no longer stay hidden?
Trust that you are being held by something greater than yourself. Sometimes what feels like disruption is simply life redirecting your attention toward what is ready to heal.
Every Full Moon is connected to the New Moon that came before it. Two weeks ago, the New Moon in Cancer invited us to reflect on how we give and receive love, how we nurture ourselves and others, and the stories we inherited from our families and our past.
Cancer asks us to remember where we've come from.
It reminds us of tradition, belonging, emotional safety, and the beliefs we've carried, sometimes without ever questioning whether they still belong to us.
Now the Full Moon arrives in Aquarius.
Aquarius is visionary.
It values freedom over familiarity.
It encourages independent thinking, authenticity, innovation, and the courage to stand apart from the crowd. It is less concerned with fitting in and more interested in living in alignment with truth.
These two archetypes could not be more different.
Cancer leads with the heart.
Aquarius leads with the mind.
Cancer seeks closeness and emotional security. Aquarius seeks perspective and objectivity. One can become attached to what feels familiar, while the other is always looking toward what comes next.
And yet, this Full Moon isn't asking you to choose one over the other.
It is asking you to integrate them.
Can you honour your emotions without becoming consumed by them?
Can you create healthy boundaries without closing your heart?
Can you move toward the future without abandoning the parts of yoursel
