🎊 Celebrating a Remarkable Career: Happy Retirement, Janine Altamirano! 🎊

After an incredible 32 years of dedicated service, leadership, and compassion, our beloved Business Manager and Partner, Janine Altamirano, is officially retiring! 👏

Janine’s journey with McInnis & Holloway began in 1991. Rising from an administrative role to Business Manager in 2000, and a Partner in 2011, her career has been defined by lifelong learning and an unwavering commitment to treating every family with the utmost dignity and respect.

While we will deeply miss her daily presence, wisdom, and guidance, we are incredibly excited for this next chapter of her life. As she steps into retirement, she is looking forward to spending more time focusing on what truly matters: her faith, her family, and her love of nature. 🌳

"When did people first start writing obituaries?"

The answer: Ancient Egypt and Rome, around 2600 BCE. Tomb inscriptions and public notices were the earliest ways communities honoured their dead.

Today, obituaries remain an essential part of a family's history. Whether archived online or preserved in print at local libraries, they ensure lives are remembered for generations to come.
