We are happy to welcome Dr. Jennifer Doull to the team at The Wellness Studio!

Dr. Jennifer Doull is an acupuncturist, practices Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is a Fellow with the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine. With over 20 years clinical experience, Jennifer is passionate about healthcare and working with clients to achieve their wellness goals.

Specializing in hormone health, Jennifer works with clients to balance hormones, improve fertility and ease the menopause transition. Her favourite thing is to hear from clients that they “feel like themselves again.”
Jennifer began her formal education at Mount Royal University, focusing on the medical sciences before studying at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary.

As her passion for internal medicine evolved, she completed a 6-month internship in China at the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After spending the last 6 years working in the Caribbean, Jennifer is excited to bring her unique skills and offerings back to Calgary, joining the team at the Wellness Studio.
Dr. Jennifer Doull understands the many ways in which our modern lifestyles, chronic stress, toxicity and improper diets affect our ability to thrive and has found Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to be extremely effective in helping the body restore proper functioning of its many complex systems. Jennifer is exceptionally skilled at helping couples optimize their fertility and conceive, and she is experienced working with pregnant women to manage prenatal concerns.

More recently, Jennifer has been focusing on how acupuncture and life style medicine can support women in peri-menopause and menopause. She also enjoys working with clients to help regulate their immune systems and stress response, and finds acupuncture to be an excellent treatment for any pain and tension in the body.

Once again, we are collecting donations for Gear Up, an annual event dedicated to helping at-risk youths.

Items needed:

Baby and kid items ages 0-4
Baby wipes and diapers of all sizes
Baby formula and bottles
Gently used winter clothes and outerwear: fleece layers, jackets, snow pants, boots, hats/mittens
Food/grocery store gift cards: Walmart, Superstore, Safeway, Subway, Tim Hortons, etc.

Welcome Allyssa Anderson, RMT to The Wellness Studio team!

Allyssa graduated from Mount Royal University’s 2200hr Massage Therapy program in 2023. With a therapeutic background, Allyssa is well versed in working with injuries, complex conditions, and relaxation. She can help support through pregnancy, postpartum, neurodiversity, or general relaxation through evidence based medicine. Allyssa also has extensive experience and training in trauma-informed therapeutic care.

Everyone is welcome to her practice.

Allyssa’s approach to massage is centred on listening to the body and working closely with clients to develop effective, personalized treatments that help achieve their goals. Her education at Mount Royal University gave her a range of therapeutic and relaxation techniques that will help you achieve your goals. This includes: assessments, therapeutic exercise, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy and more.

When Allyssa is not at work, she is a photography enthusiast. She enjoys hanging out with her son, playing video games and walking her dog.

Born and raised in Calgary, Josh has always had a passion for healing both body and mind. A graduate from Mount Royal University, Josh is skilled in a variety of different massage techniques including deep tissue, sport, relaxation, manual lymphatic drainage, pregnancy, facial and scalp. Josh likes to take a therapeutic approach to his treatments and is also skilled in treating musculoskeletal imbalances as well as pathologies including scoliosis, hyperkyphosis, hyperlordosis, TMJ, TOS, whiplash MVA injuries, carpal tunnel, medial and lateral epicondylitis, genu varum and genu valgum, pes planus, plantar fasciitis, spinal injuries, broken bones, sprain/strain, migraines and headaches.

He is experienced in treatment planning and offers home recommendations to support your recovery goals. Josh is eager to meet you and help you move forward on your healing journey!

The Wellness Studio is growing and we're looking for a passionate and experienced Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist to join our collaborative health and wellness team!
We are a well-established, patient-centered clinic offering chiropractic, massage therapy and acupuncture in a supportive, professional environment. Our chiropractors have a strong focus on pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, and family wellness, making this an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist with a similar passion for pelvic health.
