Dr. Jas is a Chiropractor and Partner with Optimum Wellness Centres
CCSP®, Certified in Pediatrics, Graston, Kinesiotape, Laser, Shockwave, Flexion Distraction, Chiropractic Services Abroad. A born and raised Calgarian, Dr. Jas earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the Univesity of Calgary before obtaining her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s West campus in San Jose, California. Having been in practice for over a decade, Dr. Jas has completed a variety of courses and certifications to remain current in her treatment approach. These include achieving board certification as a CCSP® (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician®), completing an advanced certification in pediatrics through Elevate Pediatrics, further education in both pre and post natal care, receiving accreditation in many Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapies such as Graston, and completing many kinesiotaping courses such as Rocktape. Dr. Jas provides an evidence-based, holistic, personalized approach to Chiropractic care. Her worldy travels delivering Chiropractic care in many underserved communities, including Honduras and Laos, have given her a unique perspective on patient centered, natural care. Her goal is not only to treat injuries, aches and pains, but also to prevent future issues by maintaining a healthy, pain-free lifestyle, and assisting patients in achieving their personal health goals – whether that is to go for a walk with grandchildren or complete a triathlon. In her spare time, Dr. Jas enjoys spending time with her husband, toddler and their dog, playing soccer for a team she joined over twenty years ago, traveling including Chiropractic mission trips, and music.
