Lower face rejuvenation explained – it’s all in the details ✔️

Here’s what targeted treatment in the lower face can do:

Chin
Relaxing the mentalis muscle softens that dimpled, “orange peel” texture on the chin while gently elongating its shape for a smoother, more refined contour.

Marionette Lines
By treating the DAO (depressor anguli oris), the muscle responsible for pulling the corners of the mouth downward – we can restore a softer, more neutral resting expression.

Jowls & Jawline
Using a modified Nefertiti technique, tox is placed along the platysmal bands where they attach to the jawline. The platysma is a broad, sheet-like muscle in the neck that exerts a constant downward pull on the lower face over time. Relaxing these bands reduces that pull, subtly lifting and streamlining the jawline, softening jowling, and helping restore a more balanced, youthful facial silhouette, without filler.
