🥳❤️ DAY ONE OF CALGARY SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS WEEK WAS FULLY BOOKED, AND WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came through our doors today! What a beautiful way to start our Calgary Small Business Owners Week! 🥰

Our Himalayan Salt Cave sessions were fully booked, the store was buzzing with people, and it was absolutely wonderful meeting so many Calgary small business owners, hearing about your businesses, sharing conversations and watching people connect with one another.

We had guests enjoying our Grounding Station, exploring our Aura Sprays, browsing our herbal products and spending time together. Seeing everyone enjoying themselves and getting to know other local entrepreneurs was exactly what I hoped this week would be about. ❤️

And a very special thank you to our wonderful Julie Robinson, who spent the day offering complimentary mini psychic readings to our guests! 🔮❤️ Julie, thank you so much for sharing your time, energy and beautiful gift with our Calgary small business community. You made the day even more special, and we appreciate you so much! 🥰

A big thank you to Sergei as well for sharing his beautiful Tibetan singing bowls and helping our guests enjoy some lovely grounding experiences. And thank you to everyone who brought their families, shared a smile, introduced themselves or simply stopped by to say hello!

After more than 17 years of running our own family business here in Calgary, I know how much work goes into keeping a small business going. That’s why it means so much to be able to do something special for the people who work so hard in our community.

And we’re only on DAY ONE! 😂🥳 We still have more wonderful guests to welcome, complimentary herbal tea, crystal-inspired water, surprise mini experiences, our Wellness Gift Basket Giveaway and plenty of opportunities to meet other business owners throughout the week!

Remember, you don’t need a Salt Cave booking to come visit us! You’re welcome to stop by, bring your business cards for our Calgary Small Business Community Wall, enjoy our complimentary stations and have a chat with us.

If you missed out on a Salt Cave booking, you can also call us to add your name to our cancellation waitlist.

☕🥰 AND YES, THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF COMPLIMENTARY TEA TOO!

We’re getting everything ready for Calgary Small Business Owners Week, October 13–17, and I can’t wait to welcome everyone! ❤️

Of course, we’ll be brewing and sampling some of our favourite Joy & Vitality herbal teas throughout the week. After all, what’s better than a lovely cup of tea and a good conversation with another local business owner? 😂

And we’ve prepared quite a few other surprises for you!

💗 Complimentary Himalayan Salt Cave Sessions for those who managed to secure a booking.

🎶 Surprise Mini Sound Healing Experiences with Sergei! You never know when he might stop by to share a little sound healing magic with our guests!

🥰 A Special Surprise with Lynne! On one secret day during the week, Lynne will be offering a complimentary Sound Bath inside our Himalayan Salt Cave, along with guided breathing techniques, during your already-booked session! We’re keeping the day a secret, so some of our lucky Salt Cave guests will receive this beautiful extra experience completely unexpectedly!

🔮 Surprise Mini Psychic Readings with Julie Robinson! Julie will be offering complimentary mini readings whenever she’s available during the week. No set schedule, so you might just be lucky enough to catch her!

🌿 Complimentary Grounding Station where you can take a little break from the everyday demands of running a business.

✨ Aura Spray Station where you can explore and try our handcrafted High Vibe and Planetary Aura Sprays.

💎 Complimentary Crystal-Inspired Water, featuring the beautiful symbolism of Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Citrine and Aquamarine.

☕ Herbal Tea Sampling! We’ll be sharing some of our favourite herbal blends throughout the week!

🎁 Wellness Gift Basket Giveaway! Everyone who stops by can enter for a chance to win a beautiful basket filled with some of our favourite wellness products!

🤝 Calgary Small Business Community Wall! Bring your business cards, leave them on our community wall, discover other Calgary businesses and make some wonderful new connections.

AND PLEASE, DON’T THINK YOU NEED A SALT CAVE BOOKING TO COME VISIT US! ❤️

I know many of you weren’t able to get a spot because our complimentary Salt Cave sessions filled up so quickly. But this week is about celebrating our entire Calgary small business community, not only those who booked the Salt Cave!

You’re absolutely welcome to stop by, enjoy some herbal tea or crystal-inspired water, explore our Grounding and Aura Spray Stations, enter our gift basket giveaway, leave your business card, introduce yourself and spend some time chatting with other Calgary entrepreneurs.

You never know who you might meet, what new friendship might begin or what wonderful business connection could come from a simple conversation! 🥰

🥳 GOOD NEWS! WE STILL HAVE ONE SALT CAVE SPOT AVAILABLE!

And if you missed out on booking, we’re also accepting names for our cancellation waitlist! Just give us a call, leave your name and phone number, and we’ll contact you if another spot opens up. ❤️

OK CALGARY… I HAVE AN IDEA 😂❤️ And this one is for all of you who own a small business or work for yourself!!

From October 13–18, I want to invite Calgary small business owners to come to our Salt Cave for FREE. ❤️

Yes, completely free. 40 minutes in our Himalayan Salt Cave, regular $45. No purchase, no catch, nothing.

And please share this because I really want this to reach people outside of our regular Joy & Vitality crowd. 🥰

I’ve had Joy & Vitality for many years now and I think only another small business owner really understands what owning a business does to your brain 😂 You can leave work, but work doesn’t exactly leave you.

You’re thinking about bills, orders, staff, customers, advertising, cancellations, what needs to be done tomorrow, why this week is busy, why next week is quiet, what you forgot to order… there is always something.

And lately I’ve been thinking about how many small businesses in Calgary are probably going through exactly the same ups and downs.

So instead of doing another sale after Thanksgiving, I decided I would rather fill our Salt Cave with local business owners. ❤️

🧂 Come in. Leave your phone outside for 40 minutes. Sit in the salt. Close your eyes. You don’t have to buy anything from me. I really mean that. Just come and take the 40 minutes.

But I also want to have some fun with this. 😂

🥳 We’re going to try to get 100 CALGARY BUSINESSES into Joy & Vitality before the end of October.

If you have a business card, bring one. We’re going to make a big wall here with everyone’s businesses.

If you don’t have a card, we’ll give you something to write your business name and information on.

And while you’re here, look at the other businesses. Maybe you’ll find a photographer you need. A realtor. Someone who makes something beautiful. A massage therapist. A contractor. A little home business you would have never found otherwise.

❤️ Then before you leave, nominate another Calgary business owner who should come next.

That’s the part I really want to see.

One business brings another business, that person brings somebody else, and let’s see if we can actually get this thing moving around Calgary.

And because I can never just do something simple 😂, I’m also putting together a BIG prize for one of the participating business owners. 🥳

🎁 Private Salt Cave, Sound Healing with Sergei, a Joy & Vitality basket and some other things I’m still adding because apparently I don’t know when to stop 😂

I’ll show you the whole prize once I finish putting it together.

And when I say small business, I mean SMALL BUSINESS.

You can have a store. You can work from home. You can be a hairstylist, realtor, photographer, maker, practitioner, contractor, artist, esthetician, consultant, have an online business, have two employees, have no employees… I don’t care.

If you built something of your own here in Calgary, this is for you. ❤️

📅 October 13–18
🧂 One FREE 40-minute Salt Cave session per person
❤️ Regular value $45
🥳 Calgary small business owners & self-employed

You do need to book because obviously I only have so many chairs 😂

📞 These complimentary sessions can ONLY be booked by phone: 403-452-5183

Please don’t book through our regular online booking system because we’re keeping these bookings separate.

And PLEASE share this one. ❤️

Put it in your Calgary groups. Send it to someone who owns a business. Tag people underneath. I really want to see if we can fill the cave and get 100 Calgary businesses onto that wall.

Maybe somebody comes for the Salt Cave and ends up finding their new favourite Calgary business while they’re here.

That would make me very happy. 🥰❤️
