All about trigger-point injections!

Trigger point injections can be a safe and effective treatment option for people who have been experiencing pain because due to muscle tension.

A trigger point injection may be right for you if you have "knots" that have not improved with other treatments, including over-the-counter pain medication, heat, massage therapy or physical therapy.

Trigger points AKA muscle knots, are very common — they occur in about 85% of people at some point in their life.

This service is $70 per session, and includes injections to several areas of concern.

Here are some basic facts:

☑️ Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Nuceiva are all
essentially the same medication. They are derived from botulinum toxin, which is a neuromodulating chemical produced by a type of bacteria! Currently, HHC offers the former three.

☑️ These medications all work by interfering with
muscle activity and relaxing the facial muscles temporarily.

☑️ Since wrinkles are caused by repetitive muscle
activity in the face, the result is a reduced appearance
of wrinkles after Botox!

☑️ Treatment is quick and easy with minimal pain -
clients describe it as a feeling like tiny "bee stings" or
"pinpricks."

☑️ There is minimal downtime and usually no bruising
or swelling - you just need to avoid lying flat,
exercising, or rubbing the area for 4 hours after
treatment.

☑️ Botox is SAFE AND EFFECTIVE - it is considered a
medication that must be prescribed by a physician or
nurse practitioner. Apart from cosmetic uses, Botox
can also be used for several health & wellness
concerns!
