Are your hormones keeping you awake at night? 🌙

Sleep is one of the most underrated foundations of health. The quality and quantity of your sleep impacts your hormones, metabolism, mood, immune system, and overall wellbeing.

Many women notice their sleep starts to change during perimenopause — waking more often, struggling to fall asleep, feeling restless, or waking up exhausted even after a full night in bed.
Some quick sleep facts:
🌙 Adults spend about one-third of their lives sleeping
😴 Most adults function best with around 7–9 hours of sleep per night
🧠 Sleep plays a major role in memory, brain health, and emotional regulation
⚖️ Poor sleep can contribute to increased cravings, weight changes, and blood sugar imbalance

Trouble sleeping isn’t always “just insomnia.” Sleep disruptions can be connected to:
• Hormone changes (including perimenopause and menopause)
• Thyroid dysfunction
• Stress and anxiety
• Blood sugar swings
• Pain and inflammation
• Caffeine, alcohol, medications, and environmental factors

Some common sleep concerns include difficulty falling asleep, waking frequently, waking too early, restless sleep, snoring, and feeling exhausted despite spending enough time in bed.

If you regularly take more than 30 minutes to fall asleep, wake frequently, struggle to fall back asleep, or wake feeling unrefreshed, your body may be telling you it needs more support.

The good news? Sleep can often be improved by addressing the root causes behind your symptoms.

Natural health approaches can help identify and support factors that may be affecting your sleep — including hormones, stress response, nutrient deficiencies, blood sugar balance, inflammation, and lifestyle habits.

For some patients, specialized testing can provide valuable insight. Urine hormone testing can help assess patterns like cortisol (your stress hormone rhythm) and melatonin (your sleep hormone production) to better understand what may be contributing to sleep difficulties.

If you’re ready to get to the root cause of your sleep struggles, book an appointment and let’s create a personalized plan to help you sleep better, balance your hormones, and feel your best. ✨

Most people with benefits have coverage for tests like this. And PS we usually only have to eliminate these foods for three months. The goal is to get you back to eating a diverse, healthy, balanced diet. We use this to reset the gut and the whole body.

If you feel like your body has changed and no one has explained why… this is for you.

So many women are told their labs are “normal” while dealing with fatigue, hormone shifts, weight changes, and brain fog.

There is usually a reason—and when you understand what’s going on, everything becomes clearer.

My door is open to help you figure it out, whether you’re a new patient and it’s been a while or you’re totally new to natural health. I’ve got you.

I focus on identifying the root cause and creating simple, effective natural healing plans so you can start feeling like yourself again.

How do you know your diet is actually healthy for YOU? You know your diet needs to change, but what are you doing wrong and how do you figure out what you should do?

This is one of my top approaches for weight management—and it’s essential for hormone balance too.
But here’s the catch 👇

“Healthy” foods can still be inflammatory… if they don’t agree with your body.

Most people assume gluten or dairy are the problem and try cutting them out.
But what if they’re not?

👉 What if your body reacts to almonds… eggs… or something you’re eating every single day?

On average, people have multiple food sensitivities (often 10–20+).
So you might be trying to lose weight, increasing protein, eating more eggs + dairy…
…and unintentionally driving inflammation → slowing progress → hitting a plateau.

Food sensitivities don’t just affect digestion. They can show up as:

• Bloating, gas, heartburn, loose stools
• IBS / IBD symptoms
• Headaches + migraines
• Mood, focus + attention issues
• Weight gain or stalled weight loss
• Skin issues (hives, eczema)
• Fatigue + sweating
• Joint pain + inflammation
• Brain fog, memory changes
• Asthma + allergies

✨ The good news: this is something we can actually test.

It’s a simple blood test (done through LifeLabs), and once we get your results, we build a plan around exactly what your body needs.

✔️ No guessing
✔️ No unnecessary restriction
✔️ No cutting out foods “just because”

And it’s not forever—
we typically use a targeted elimination for ~3 months, then reintroduce strategically.

Because the goal isn’t restriction.
It’s helping your body feel safe enough to heal, balance hormones, and finally respond.

If your body isn’t responding the way it “should”…
it’s usually trying to tell you something. 💬 Book an appointment (link in bio) to get started 🍎
