Well, it appears we have been added as an essential service and I know many of you are doing a happy dance awaiting your massage booking. I miss all of you, and I know because some of you have been reaching out, you miss me too! So the thing that isn't clear, is that we are not back to work as we had been before this all occurred. In fact, our college has a list of guidelines that we are to follow in order to treat. We did not receive this information until quite late last night, and I have not had a chance to completely go through it. What I can tell you is we are to open slowly, with emergent care being our initial focus. There will be screening protocols to ensure it is safe and appropriate to treat, and these will be done in advance of treatment and repeated prior to the actual appointment. There is a lot of specific information about how the treatment occurs, which I will go into when I email all of you. I am finishing up my courses through Public Health, and reorganizing the clinic to new guidelines. Also, this is a bit of an issue, even though I had been proactive in pre-ordering a lot of the things I thought I might need, I am still waiting for some of those things. So, in a nutshell we will likely be seeing each other soon, but it won't be as soon as you may have thought. In the meantime, I have been enjoying some time with the lilacs before the monsoon hits.
