We are seeking a motivated Full-Time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to assist clinic physicians with the clinical and administrative management of patients.

Key Details
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Benefits: Qualifies for Full Time Benefits.
Start Date: ASAP. A 90-Day Probation period will be in effect.

Core Responsibilities:
Clinical Support: Assist physicians by, taking vitals, performing required pre-work, setting up/restocking/cleaning exam rooms, and chaperoning and assisting with minor medical procedures, including excisions, dressings.

Administrative Management:
Manage patient appointment bookings, including complex specialist referrals (e.g., specialist referrals, ultrasounds etc). Duties also include conducting phone triage, sorting mail/faxes, ordering labs and acting as a liaison with pharmacies and other external groups.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Medical Office Assistant (MOA) qualification or experience in healthcare with referral coordination is an asset.
Skills:
Demonstrated ability in clinical assessment, critical thinking, scheduling/referral systems, patient flow management, and comfortable using a computer and Netcare. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
