It all began on August 16, 2006 with a corporate filing at AMA, a lease from Knaut Johnson, some files and furniture from Dr. Dieslissen, a phone number and some loyal folks who figured they’d stick around to give the new guy a shot. Not many know the story of how I ended up back in Camrose:

I was in the library at college in Dallas, TX when I saw a girl walk by out of the corner of my eye, wearing a UofC sweatshirt. I went over to her to find out if she was a fellow Canadian. As it turned out, she was also from Camrose! Thanks to Jaime (and Joe) Mohan for setting the wheels in motion to connect me with an opportunity here in my home town.

Throughout the years, there have been so many people who I couldn’t have made it without. So many clients I actually can’t name here. *All* my current and past staff, now numbering too many to list on an Instagram caption but no less meaningful. A few notable public thank-you’s to my wife Erin; Amanda Schmidt, Sherry Cardiff, Michelle Gartner, Barb Lesser, Lana Hennig, Larry Johnson, David Francouer, Marty McPhee, and Greg Stewart.

I suppose it was fitting that I spent a good part of the day today in the clinic with power tools and a paint roller. I’d like to express gratitude to all who have been part of this journey.

I found some new ! style shoes aren’t for everyone, because our feet and the organisms they are part of are very unique. But I was very impressed with this boutique store in Salmon Arm and wanted to share the new Canadian brand “Nunorm” they introduced me to.
