We are looking for another team member!
The Canmore Health & Wellness Centre is home to a wide variety of holistic healthcare and medical aesthetics providers. Our dynamic team supports Bow Valley residents with many modalities: naturopathic and functional medicine, acupuncture, massage therapy, psychology, podology, medical aesthetics, and advanced anti-aging treatments.
We are looking for a team member to support our care providers in day to day operations. This clinic is busy and there are many moving parts to keep track of. Every day presents different challenges and opportunities to serve our patients better.
In this role, a successful team member will learn from previous experiences and apply their insight to continuously improve the performance of their duties.
Responsibilities of this role also include reception duties to cover sick days and vacation for our current reception staff. Dates and times negotiable.
Welcoming patients and orientating them to the clinic
Appointment booking
Answering phone calls
Receiving payment
Direct billing to insurance companies
Cleaning/sanitizing
(sweeping & washing floors, washing windows, cleaning bathrooms, sanitizing commonly touched surfaces, dusting)
Arranging furniture as needed (setting up massage tables, moving chairs between treatment rooms)
Digital workload: Experience with the following programs is an asset but not required;
Jane App (online booking system)
TelusHealth
This position is largely about “fit.” You will be working very closely with Dr. Dawne to streamline and facilitate her ability to provide excellent patient care.You will be responsible to assist her directly in patient communication, including making phone calls, sending emails, and creating internal documents for patient education.
Much of your work hours will be unsupervised. The ability to rapidly switch from one task to another, and to prioritize and complete duties with multiple interruptions are necessary requirements of this position.
We are looking for a person who communicates effectively and is comfortable working with the public. Sometimes this will include uncomfortable conversations, such as letting patients know that their practitioner is running behind, or to collect payments owing on treatments.
As our naturopathic doctors are regulated healthcare providers, there is a strict requirement for confidentiality at all times - including in your personal life. You cannot discuss patients in any way outside of the workplace. Signing a robust confidentiality agreement is a requirement of the position.
Part Time position - the days worked are negotiable
Remuneration: begins at $21/hour and may increase commensurate to experience
Complete fluency with both spoken and written English is required.
Start date: August 10, 2026 (negotiable)
Training is provided. Experience with Jane App is preferred, but not required.
