Today is a heavy day…
A day that lives in our hearts and in our collective memory as Red Dress Day 🩸

A day to remember. To acknowledge. To stand in unwavering solidarity with Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit+ people.

The truth is still heartbreaking…
Indigenous women continue to be disproportionately impacted by violence, disappearances, and loss. Families are still searching. Communities are still grieving.
And still… we ask: How many more?
We refuse to let their names fade. We refuse to let their stories be silenced.

Today, we wear red to honour them; to hold space for their spirits, to stand beside their families, and to say clearly: you are not forgotten, you are not alone.

The 12 Days of Christmas may be complete, but the magic does not end here.

As we gently return to everyday life, may we remember that the true magic of the holidays was never something outside of us. It lives within our hearts; through kindness, compassion, and the way we show up for one another. Christmas magic isn’t bound to a season; it continues every time we choose love, presence, and generosity.

As we step into 2026, the Year of the Horse, the world around us may feel uncertain. We may not have control over global events, fear, or unpredictability but we do have control over our individual choices, words, and actions. And those choices matter more than we know. Every smile, every moment of care, every act of healing creates ripples far beyond us.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for walking this journey with me through the 12 Days of Christmas. Your presence, energy, and openness made this experience truly special.
