In my space. My happy place.
Someone asked me recently how I show up on the days I don’t feel like doing my job. I thought about it for a moment and realized… I never really feel that way.
I’ve genuinely loved every job I’ve had throughout my life. But being a reflexologist—working with people’s nervous systems and watching their lives begin to change—has been one of the most incredible and humbling experiences.
I get to provide a space for healing, and the beautiful part is that it has nothing to do with me. I simply hold the space for peace, help calm the body so it can relax, and then step aside as I watch people slowly take their lives back, piece by piece. Physically, mentally, and emotionally.
A friend challenged me this spring with a simple question: What is your purpose?
When you understand your purpose, it doesn’t matter what you’re doing or where you are—you naturally show up as your most genuine self.
Whether I’m cleaning homes, working with flowers, or helping regulate people’s nervous systems through reflexology, my purpose has always been the same: to bring beauty and order out of chaos. To create a sense of calm that allows people to breathe, let go, and release the weight they’ve been carrying.
Everything I’ve ever done, I’ve done with my whole heart. And I can honestly say there’s never a day I don’t want to show up in that way.
Now… getting my house ready before work is a different story. 😬 That sometimes takes a little extra motivation! 😆
