What a summer!

Thanks to the incredible efforts of our residences and communities across the country, this year’s National Summer Fundraiser raised an amazing $170,000 for Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime - Rêver pour la vie!

Throughout the summer, residents, employees, families, and community members came together through creative events and activities, all with one goal in mind: helping grant meaningful wishes for seniors across Canada.

Thank you to everyone who organized an event, participated, donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word. This incredible result belongs to all of you.

Located at 7625 7th St. SW, the residence will offer 111 spacious one- and two-bedroom suites with full kitchens, designed for independent seniors seeking comfort, convenience, and an engaging lifestyle.

Our Memory Living neighbourhood residents put their skills to the test with a Minute to Win It challenge! 🍫⏱️

The goal? Use a spatula to scoop up mini chocolate bars and get them into the bowl before time ran out! It took focus, a steady hand, and plenty of determination — with lots of laughs along the way. ❤️

Yeehaw! 🤠🌵 We had a rootin’ tootin’ good time at our Western Day at Chartwell Scarlett Heights!

Our residents saddled up for an afternoon filled with Western-themed fun, games, tasty treats, and plenty of laughs. We even had a WANTED bounty board featuring some of our managers — and a few of our outlaws didn’t stay on the run for long! 🚨

It looks like the law finally caught up with our Lifestyle & Programs Manager, Megan — our Sheriff, Diane Sousa, caught her red-handed for being a notorious Bingo Bandit!

Our Retirement Living Consultant, Philon, was apprehended by a few of our residents for Stealin’ Cookies! Thankfully, our residents were more than happy to help bring these Wild West troublemakers to justice!

From cowboy hats and Western games to a little friendly mischief, it was an afternoon full of smiles, laughter, and good old-fashioned fun! 🐴🌵

We celebrated Oktoberfest with a guided b**r tasting, sampling a variety of b**rs while learning about their different styles, flavours, ingredients, and origins. Each b**r was paired with a tasting plate featuring cheeses, sausage, pretzels, cornichons, apples, and crackers to complement the different flavours.

It was a fun afternoon of tasting, learning, and celebrating a little Oktoberfest tradition together! 🍻

This Thanksgiving season, we’re coming together to support families in our community. From September 8th to October 3rd, we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the Daily Bread Food Bank in Etobicoke.

Every donation, big or small, can help make a difference and put food on the table for a family in need this Thanksgiving. 🥫🍁

Our Residents vs. Managers Trivia Showdown brought out some serious friendly competition! After a battle of wits, our residents came out on top with 20 points, while the managers finished with 14 points!

There were plenty of laughs, cheers, and impressive answers—not just from our teams, but from everyone in the audience too!

✏️🎒 Back to School Giving! 📚🖍️

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to our Back to School Supply Drive! Together, we collected an amazing assortment of brand-new school supplies to donate to Youth Without Shelter in Etobicoke, an organization that provides shelter and support to youth experiencing homelessness.

From backpacks and binders to notebooks, pens, and plenty of classroom essentials, we’re so grateful to our Scarlett Heights community for coming together to support local youth as they head into the school year. 💛
