How many can relate to this? 👇
You have a full work week, hustling to all the activities, dinner prep, battling bedtime routines…
Then you realize…
“Crap. Tomorrow is the weekend and now I have to entertain them.” 😩
The idea exhausts you.
You try to plan fun things, but it never seems like enough.
You get irritated, then SNAP!
You hide in the bathroom pretending you have Irritable Bowel Syndrome so you can get one more minute alone. 😂
You try to connect and co-parent with your partner, but it never quite feels equal or fair… resentment builds up.
You try to get all the things done to feel organized, but then feel guilty for not being fully present for your kids.
You keep running on empty — promising yourself it’ll be different tomorrow.
Then the cycle repeats.
It’s not that you suck as a parent or a wife…
It’s because you’ve learned to live in survival mode.
And this has become your norm.
The good news? Survival patterns can change.
This is what I teach ambitious moms:
Stop snapping at the ones you love.
Stop feeling disconnected from yourself.
Stop just co-parenting and feeling like your partner is more of a roommate.
Instead:
✅ Create healthy boundaries, routines, and nervous system regulation tools.
✅ Raise emotionally resilient children who don’t copy YOUR survival patterns.
✅ Repair your relationship so you can find the spark and intimacy you desire with your partner.
Being a wife and mom has its challenges, but it doesn’t have to be this hard.
You aren’t failing.
You’re just stuck.
And moms who feel guilty and think “I can do better”? That usually means they truly care about their role in their family.
Yet maybe it’s not about trying harder.
Maybe it’s about unlearning the things that don’t feel good and replacing them with things that actually work — and feel good.
Comment THRIVING if you’re ready to stop surviving day to day as a mother and a wife. ❤️
