Today’s combo? A dark plum top, a green skirt, and my purple + teal frames. 💜💚 I’d say they understood the assignment!

Why Don't We Always Recommend Putting New Lenses in an Existing Frame? 👓

One of the questions we hear most often at Boyle's Optical is: "Can I just put my new prescription lenses into my current frame?"

The answer is sometimes yes—but not always.
While reusing a favorite frame can be a great option, there are several factors we need to consider before recommending it.

Our priority is helping you get the best value from your eyewear investment.

Our recommendations are based on the condition of your frame and whether it's likely to safely support your new lenses for years to come.

Can an existing frame be reused? Absolutely. If it's in good condition, we're happy to recommend it. Every frame is carefully inspected before we proceed.

Sometimes keeping the frame you love is the right choice. Other times, a new frame is the best way to protect your new lenses and ensure long-term durability.

It's not about selling another frame—it's about making sure your eyewear is safe, comfortable, and built to last.
