CK Public Health has declared a respiratory Outbreak on unit 6 East here at Riverview Gardens.

Additional Guidelines - Unit 6 East Only:

➡️Visitors should postpone all non-essential visits to this unit.
➡️Surgical mask (provided at each entrance) must be worn at all times on this unit.
➡️ Residents are not permitted to leave this unit
unless it’s for a medical/essential reason.
➡️ If you must visit this unit do not visit more than one resident per visit.
➡️ If you are visiting a resident that is isolated/ill, you must wear full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) before entering and once exiting, you must remove the PPE.
➡️ Hand hygiene is critical before entering and when leaving this unit.
➡️ Activities will continue on this unit for non-ill residents. (Residents are encouraged to wear a mask.)
➡️Residents residing on other units cannot attend activities on this unit.



As a general reminder, please do not visit Riverview Gardens if you are sick and practice good hand hygiene if you are visiting.

He has put so much heart and hard work into the garden area, it really shows! From vegetables, to herbs, to flowers! Our garden is such a beautiful space to relax, soak up the summer weather, and enjoy the outdoors! His efforts and green thumb are truly appreciated! 😎🪻

Our residents and staff had a paws-itively wonderful visit from our furry friends at PAWR! 🐱🐶

Everyone loved spending time with the adorable and adoptable pets. We’re also collecting donations for PAWR — pet food, toys, treats, or anything else our furry friends might need. The donation box is located just outside the Reception area.
