Please join us in welcoming Dr. Sanya Sharar, Dr. Neelesh Taticherala, Dr. Amanjot Kaur, and Dr. Murad Mun, who have begun their post-graduate training at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance this month.

Throughout their training, they'll work alongside our outstanding local physicians and health care teams, gaining valuable clinical experience while caring for patients across our community.

Congratulations to Dr. Allan Morrison on joining the Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres following his retirement earlier this year.

We're grateful for your continued investment in the Chatham-Kent community and your ongoing commitment to improving access to care for local residents. Wishing you all the best in this new chapter!

The Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres (CKCHC) have expanded their primary care family once again. Dr. Allan Morrison joined the CKCHC family effective June 8, 2026, as a part-time physician at the Chatham and Walpole Island CHC sites.

Dr. Allan Morrison earned his MD from Ross University School of Medicine and has been practicing family medicine since January 2011, most recently working as family physician at the Blenheim site of the Chatham-Kent Family Health Team (CKFHT). He retired from the CKFHT in February 2026.

Dr. Allan Morrison states, “I was interested in working part-time after retiring from my full-time practice and have always enjoyed working with equity deserving populations, so joining CKCHC was a great opportunity to continue helping people achieve positive health outcomes and wellbeing.”

We had a great time at the SRPC Rural and Remote Medicine Conference connecting with medical learners and physicians from across the country!

Our focus was sharing opportunities in rural family medicine in Chatham-Kent and having meaningful conversations about what practicing in a supportive, community-driven environment can look like.

It was especially exciting to see such strong representation from Chatham-Kent, and to celebrate Dr. Lindsey Sutherland on receiving the Rural Service Award—a true reflection of the incredible care happening in our community.

If we missed you at SRPC and you’re interested in learning more about opportunities in Chatham-Kent, we’d love to connect!
