We are excited to welcome residents, families, friends, and community members to our beloved Strawberry Social on Thursday, June 18th from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM!

Come enjoy a delightful afternoon filled with fresh strawberries, sweet treats, great company, and plenty of summer cheer. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends, make new memories, and celebrate the season together.

What a night to remember! Last Thursday, we gathered to celebrate 55 remarkable years of St. Andrew's Residence — and what a celebration it was!

From the beautiful musical performance by our very own resident Sandy Skipper on the Baby Grand, to the heartfelt words of our guest speakers, the evening was a true reflection of who we are.
St. Andrew's has always been more than a place to live — it has been a place to belong. Built on compassion, dignity, and community, we have proudly supported generations of seniors with care, friendship, and a sense of home.

To every resident, family member, team member, volunteer, and community supporter who joined us — thank you. Your presence made the evening truly special. 💛

We are so proud of the legacy we have built together, and we look forward with continued commitment to enriching the lives of seniors in the Chatham-Kent community for years to come.

🏇🌹 Our volunteers were off to the races at this year's Volunteer Appreciation Event!

This year, we celebrated Kentucky Derby style with fabulous hats, great food, lots of laughter, and wonderful company. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognize the many volunteers who make a difference at St. Andrew's Residence and throughout our community.

From supporting resident programs and special events to delivering meals through our Meals on Wheels Chatham-Kent program, our volunteers share their time, energy, and compassion in countless ways. Their dedication helps enrich the lives of older adults both within our residence and across Chatham-Kent.

We are incredibly grateful for each and every volunteer who chooses to give back and help others. Your kindness, commitment, and caring hearts make a lasting impact every day.

Thank you for all that you do. We couldn't do it without you!

On Friday, we celebrate an incredible milestone and say thank you to someone who has helped shape St. Andrew's Residence for the past 28 years. Barry has been the steady hand behind countless repairs, renovations, expansions, and improvements throughout our home.

From our oldest spaces to our newest additions, his craftsmanship, knowledge, and dedication can be found in every corner of St. Andrew's Residence. Simply put, if it was broken, Barry could fix it. But what makes Barry truly special is the heart he brought to his work every day. He wasn't just our Maintenance Manager—he was the man behind so many of the moments that brought joy to our residents.

Whether it was Halloween, Christmas, Easter, car shows, or countless other special events, Barry always went above and beyond to help make life brighter for those who call St. Andrew's Residence home.

His impact reaches far beyond bricks, mortar, and maintenance projects. He has helped build a community filled with care, laughter, and memories. Barry, thank you for your 28 years of service, dedication, and friendship. Your legacy will be felt for years to come, and you will be greatly missed. Please join us in wishing

What an incredible evening celebrating 55 years of St. Andrew’s Residence!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this very special milestone celebration. It was truly heartwarming to see so many residents, families, staff, volunteers, community partners, and friends come together to celebrate the legacy of St. Andrew’s Residence.

One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was reconnecting with so many people who have been part of our journey over the years. Your stories, support, and shared memories are what make St. Andrew’s such a special community.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this celebration such a success and to all those who continue to support our mission of care, compassion, and community. A special thank you as well to everyone who has contributed to our “$55 for 55 Years” campaign — your generosity and support mean so much to us and will help continue the legacy of St. Andrew’s Residence for years to come.

Tonight is the night — we are so excited to celebrate our 55th Anniversary Party! 🎉✨

To kick off the celebrations, our residents and staff enjoyed an exclusive VIP screening of our 55th Anniversary Legacy Video, filled with wonderful memories and moments that have shaped our community over the years. ❤️

Residents and guests have also been admiring our incredible Resident Art Display, showcasing the amazing talents and creativity of our residents. From paintings to handcrafted pieces, each masterpiece reflects the heart and spirit of our community. 🎨🖌️

We are so proud to celebrate 55 years of memories, friendships, laughter, and community together. Here’s to an unforgettable evening of celebration!

Over the past month, our residents have been stepping up for a great cause during our Alzheimer’s Walk fundraiser! 💙

Our walking club met 3 days a week, showing dedication, teamwork, and so much community spirit along the way. We were proud to raise $500 for the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent!

To celebrate all of the hard work and miles walked, we wrapped up the month with some delicious root beer floats shared together with lots of smiles and laughter. Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, and supported us throughout this meaningful journey! 💙
