Respectful Environment Reminder

We do not enjoy having to share messages like this; however, from time to time, a gentle reminder is necessary to help ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

At Chatham Urology, we are committed to providing professional, compassionate care and expect all interactions with our team to remain respectful—whether they occur in person, by telephone, voicemail, text message, email, social media, or any other form of communication.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

We will not tolerate:

Violence or threats of violence
Abusive, offensive, or discriminatory language
Aggressive, intimidating, harassing, or disruptive behaviour
Repeated hostile communications directed toward staff

This policy applies to all communications and interactions with our office, not just those that occur in person.

Should such behaviour occur, appropriate action will be taken. Depending on the circumstances, this may include ending the conversation, discontinuing communication, involving security or law enforcement, or taking other steps necessary to protect the safety and well-being of staff and patients.

Our team is dedicated to providing care and assistance to patients and deserves to be treated with the same courtesy, patience, and respect that they strive to provide every day.

Psssttt.....We've got news! We are moving!! Later this summer, the offices of Dr.Langley and Dr. Gabrigna Berto will be moving to 211 St. Clair Street, Chatham, On.

What does this mean for you, you ask? It means we will have a bigger space to offer Urological Care right here within Chatham Kent!

It will be a central location, close to CKHA and easy to navigate. Be sure to like, follow and share Chatham Urology to keep up to date with the move!

🚨 Your Appointment Needs You 🚨

A quick reminder:

When we ask you to confirm your appointment, it’s not a suggestion. It’s because we need to know if you’re actually coming.

If you don’t confirm, we do NOT automatically assume you’ll be there. In fact, we assume the opposite until we hear from you.

Why does this matter?

Because waitlists and appointment availability are directly tied to confirmations and attendance. Every unconfirmed appointment is a spot that could potentially go to someone else waiting for care.

We send appointment reminders, which may include lab reminders, imaging reminders, and certain testing reminders as a courtesy to help you get the best care possible. (*We do not remind you of your actual diagnostic imaging appointment- but we do tell you if it’s required prior to seeing you).

All we’re asking is for the same courtesy in return:

✔️ Confirm your appointment
✔️ Show up for your appointment
✔️ Answer your phone for your telephone appointment
✔️ Complete your labs and diagnostic tests before your appointment

It’s really that simple.

The patients who confirm, attend, and complete their testing get better, more efficient care. The patients who don’t… well, everyone ends up spending more time chasing information instead of focusing on healthcare.

And while we’re happy to help, we’d much rather spend our day caring for patients than tracking them down.

June is Men’s Mental Health Month, a reminder that strength isn’t about bottling things up or pretending everything’s fine. It’s about having the courage to talk, to feel, & to ask for help when you need it.
Too many men are suffering in silence, thinking vulnerability makes them weak. It doesnt!! 💙
